Our history begins in Lucan Co. Dublin home of Rugs by Design since 1995. Our rugs and carpets are manufactured at our premises in Lucan, situated on the banks of the river Liffey along the Strawberry Beds road.

Rugs by Design is a family run business. Creating and designing rugs and carpets to suit our customers needs. We choose only the finest yarns to deliver quality assured products. Working with our dyer's we can dye match almost any colour received.

The flexibility of colour, shape and texture combined with technique of tufting ensure that it is possible to create some of the most outstanding designs and concepts. Our designs range from Modern, Contemporary, Traditional styles and Bespoke design. We also incorporate company logos.

We work closely with our clients. These include individuals wanting truly original bespoke rugs/carpets for their homes. As well as Interior Designers, Architects and Specifiers who work on commercial products ranging from top Hotels to Department Stores, Boardrooms, Churches and the Office of Public Works/Government buildings.
